Instead of a Mudsling maybe?

I got one of these Maier parts fitted about 2 weeks ago... Once the roads thaw out a bit I'll let you know if it's any good! :thumb2

Wunderlich have the same:surrender

Yes they do, and I have one , but I paid a lot more for it :blast

It would be great if someone with access to both could post a review, looking at the pics they seem very similar ( except in price)

I posted this on a hugger related thread some time ago, and ordered one around three weeks ago - hopefully it will arrive soon . These guys http://www.iliumworks.com/Store_Detail.cfm?ID=229954&InfoID=5919 also sell them on Ebay - it cost me £55.00 all-in including shipping. Once it arrives I'll let you know how it performs, but for my money I can't see any difference between this and a Mudslinger...apart from being half the price. :clap

Anyone up for a bulk order to save on the shipping? Does anyone know if it is compatible with ESA and a hugger??

There are a couple of versions, one of which is ESA compatible. As for a hugger... I don't have one fitted so don't know how much room you'd have if you tried to fit both.

I've got a Ilmberger hugger for my '09 GSA with ESA......but my rucksack still gets absolutely soaked in the rain from spray. I'd hoped the revised Ilmberger design would correct the original GSA ('08 model) hugger....but it hasnt :(

I'd be tempted to remove the hugger (as it cost a small fortune..)and replace with this part if people can confirm it prevents the bloody awful spray...

spray stop

BOSE - have you got one of these fitted then ?

Quick update....mine arrived from the USA yesterday. Had £16 customs clearance etc. to pay but final price incl. delivery was still under £75 and it took around 4 weeks. Fits well in 10 mins and I can't see any difference between this and a Mudslinger.

Seems to work well (rain test only on road) so I'm happy with it. :):)
