Insurance for Bosnia, Serbia and Ukraine

Hi, this summer I have got 3 weeks off and I intend to take my gs down to Bosnia, Serbia, Romania and into Ukraine and then back to UK. I am insured with BMW insurance but they will only cover me for EU countries and not for the ones I mention above. Does anyone know a firm that will cover me and how I should go about it? I looked on the search but there is no clear answer and they were all last year.

I managed to get insurance from a german company for every where but Russia and Ukraine, also Most Uk companies will add places like Croatia,Hungary for a fee to your existing policy.

Hi Popski,

Having German insurance, this isn't a problem for me, since all these countries are covered under the green card system. What I can recommend, is that if your're an AA or RAC member, have a word with them, since they should be up to date with all the necessary insurance requirements and how to get cover.
