It's that time of year again! Mrs Berin and I are seeking an annual multi trip policy, that covers (obvs.) motorcycling.

However, we do ride trails - mostly these are legally roads (otherwise we wouldn't be able to ride on them) but they are often unsealed, and in Morocco as well as pistes, which I have no idea are classed as roads or not, we may well areas which are almost certainly not roads.

Usually we use our own bikes, but sometime we hire, and sometimes go on trips - like Compass Expeditions.

I'm looking at the Puffin policy. The policy document is here, and it says that medical cover is provided for motorcycles provided you're licenced and wearing a helmet. It mentions nothing about capacity, whether it's your own bike or hired, or where it's ridden. Since none of the things I mentioned are excluded, does the mean they are covered?

I'm raising this as the Navigator website mentions that for example, some of the TET is excluded,

I had the Puffin policy. Underwritten by AXA. I'm currently insured by the same AXA policy via Tesco (actually Rock Insurance). Certainly no restrictions on what you ride.No idea about riding in places not recognised as roads or approved spaces such as private car parks, port areas etc.
Have you checked to see if off road riding is defined in the optional sport add ons?
