Has anyone heard of, used, have any knowledge of Intaride
intercoms?

They are local to me. I've always used Autocom but as they are local to me I went to have a chat with them a few months ago and to take a look at their products. Even though I dropped in unexpectedly they were happy to spend an hour or more with me demonstrating their kit and showing me it's construction. The kit is extremely well made and is very robust and on all the demos it was very good clarity on all applications, rider to pillion, music, phone, bike to bike. I have decided that they when I next need a system I shall use them...the quality and back up appears to be in place and they are not as costly as Autocom. Definitely worth a try is my conclusion.

Yes! I've used a variety of different systems for work and have posted in detail elsewhere on the forums why I think IntaRide is currently the best system pound for pound...

CE approved, Military spec, adjustable power output, compatible with other brands (so you can bike to bike with people using kenwood or whatever) bla bla bla.

Very well built, as Lord Snooty said great customer service and best of all (for me) they are really easy to use, work well and have a fantastic range.

Some years ago I used Autocom then decided to do away with an intercom altogether. Recently I decided to have another go and opted for Intaride. I have found the customer service to be very friendly and helpful and the RP1 unit works no problem at all. Very happy with it. I use it for MP3, GPS, pillion and bike to bike (using their radio). I do not use the phone facility so cannot comment on that. As with all makes, positioning of the headset is crucial and could hear everything perfectly well up to 90mph - (not tried it at anything faster). This is with ear plugs in of course and more recently with the cusom made ear plugs.

My own research has given me the impression that Intaride are on par with (if not better) than Starcom1 and Autocom.

The only drawback (and the reason I didn't go with them) is they didn't have a Bluetooth module. Starcom1 has a specific one for motorbikes so they got my money in the end.

From what I've read and heard though, they are defintly a good choice!

I would second, third, fourth?? all tha thas been said above abot Intaride. I have their radio kit and I find it spot on. The staff have been very good to deal with. I will be investing in their intercom system in due course. A mate of mine (Beemer) on this forum used the intercom last year for a lenghty trip to France with no reported problems.

This thread reminded me about getting an intercom...

I want an intercom that means I can listen/chat to SWMBO from time to time when we are on a trip and get instructions from Doris Quest (and actually hear them!)...

Frills like MP3 and the phone are a bonus.

Yes it is. I suggest you ring and speak to them, as noted above they are very approachable. I have used their PMR radios for a while now and upgraded to the RP1 some time ago, although I havent made much use of it.

I spoke to the guy this morning and at £139 plus £20 for an isolated lead for my Quest it looks the way to go.
