Hello all, Can anyone recommend a decent rider to pillion intercom wire-free and not the autocom type. I'm just after something that clips to the helmets (full face) and can be taken off after the trip.

Any ideas? thanks :)

Rich,

I use a 'Blueant Inter-Phone' which I got from Canon BMW in Braintree, Essex. Its a bit fiddly to fit and setup but very light and comfortable. It would be absolutely fine for bike to passenger comms. I actually use it for rider to rider comms and it works reasonably well there too. It is clear and easy to hear up to about 50-60 mph on my GS with a full face lid. It quotes a range of about 200 metres and it is good for that.
The battery lasts for days even permanently left on. This really surprised me.

The only real drawback with this system is that it is difficult to set up when you want to add more devices into the mix (ie a sat nav). Whilst it can be done; in practice it's fiddly and doesn't work well.

The main website is here:

Hope this helps.
