Interesting thread about electrical fault on 1150's

It suggests fitting additional fuses in a couple of unprotected wires that have been known to fail at the headstock.

I've cut the tiewraps up there, as suggested by Steptoe, but not sure if installing the fuses is worthwhile. Interested to hear what others think. Thread suggests several fires due to this potential issue.

Interesting.
Like you I followed Steptoe's recommendation to cut the headstock cable ties and I've read a few threads on here about wiring loom meltdowns.

I might give this mod some thought....
