Hi guys,
Sorry if this topic has been raised before, but I couldn't answer my particular problem looking through the previous posts. Anyway............
I have just bought a 2005 R1200GS which has a Starcom1 Advance intercom already fitted. The 12V power has been spliced in to the loom below the tool tray (rear light circuit?).
The problem is that when ever the brakes are applied the unit switches off, only coming back on again once the brakes are released.
I'm guessing there is interference coming from either the brake light or ABS pump circuits. So I have a couple of questions,
1 - Where is the normal 12v supply point for fixed intercoms taken from?
2 - Is there any supression \ filter device that will get over this problem?
Thanks in advance.
