Having a problem with my 04 1200 GS lately. 60-70% of the time when I turn on the key nothing happens. If I flick it on and of a few times it will eventually come on.
Also the GPS is half switching on of its own accord randomly and then off again.
I had everything wired through a fusebox into the switched ignition wire going into the diagnositic plug (as per nippy norman instructions) but when it was in for another job in the main dealer he said that it shouldnt be there and he rewired it somewhere else.
Im going to try wiring direct to the battery through a handlebar switch to see if this helps.
Going overseas in a few weeks so getting a bit worried about this.
