The BMW GS club International Eastern meetings have become a fine tradition in the past years.

This year it is the Dutch BMW GSclub's turn again to organise the International GS Eastern Meeting.
A tradition shared with our Belgium sister club.
In the past years these meetings have had the honor to welcome British, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, and several other country's GS riders.

Currently the organisation is working on creating another challenging programme for you.

This weekend will take place from Friday April 10th 2009 until Monday April 13th. Camping, good food, nice company, sharing experiences, and of course the very best of local motorcycle rides and workshops to lift your GS riding skills even further.
The programme will have all levels of off road riding, but also features on-road rides.

** This posting is just a preliminary announcement**
More info and an application form will be available in the nearby future on the Dutch GS forum.

The organisation has promissed to make the 2009 version an even bigger success then the past editions!

Damn... I can't believe it. Its the same weekend as the Red Kite Enduro and I can't go to that either as I am offshore:tears:tears:tears:tears
I urge as many as possible to attend this Rally as the guys in the Nederalands really do a great job of organising it:clap:clap

Exact location is still under negotiation, but will probably in BLADEL (southern part of the Netherlands)
More info will follow as it evolves!

Hi Steve,

I'm in Den Dungen, just south of Den Bosch.

I'll beam you a mail over, later.

I'm quite prepared to admit being wrong, but at the rally last Easter in Ronse, Belgium, talk was of returning to the cracking lakeside venue at Valburg for this year?

Vaalburg was nice indeed, but if the org can find an equaly good location, why not?
(But talks are done with different locations in mind)

i'll be there

The Red Kite will have to do without me, but the van will be loaded with BMW offroaders and another good GS Easter to come

Lurking on this thread it's great to see so many in the Netherlands, if only I were still there. I lived in Breda for about 5 1/2 years and loved it, even did a couple of carnivals until it got just a bit too much. Back in Blighty for just over two years now and wish I was still in Breda almost every day. Living in Croydon and working in Slough, oh what joy!!!

Spencer.
