Been using this for about 2 years now so thought it was time for an update.
In the last year mrs Z has also been with me so been able to test the headset-headset too.

Overall the F4 has worked very well, and has been largely reliable (I've had to change 2 earphone/ speaker sets as the wiring is just a little bit femmer where it leaves the connector - the newer sets have been redesigned and now look much more resilient (at £30 a pop, I certainly hope so!!)

When travelling 2 up, we tend to switch on and leave comms open -been out for 7-8 hrs and no probs with battery life (mind you I do tend to charge them up the night before, so they start fully charged)

Pairing/ using with iPhone is really easy. Audio quality for calls/ music is fine at sensible speeds...

There are 2 options to connect the unit to your helmet. I've used the Sticky option onmy Shoei Multitec. Mrs Z uses the clamp on her Aria AXcess (or whatever its called). of the 2 options I prefer the sticky one, which just seems more secure...

Haven't been able to test the bike to bike range, so can't comment on that aspect...

No bike sat nav so havent tested that either (sorry)....

The module firmware is not user upgradeable - tbh haven't had any probs so not really bothered - others might be....

Would I recommend the F4 - Absolutely
Would I buy again - Yes(if there was areasonable difference in cost between the F4 and F5...

My sentiments exactly. Happy with mine , pairs easily and the sound is good. Mind you it's louder through my iPhone that the Galaxy s3 that I used to have and a bit clearer too. Good kit.
