You are welcome mate ! If counted well there are allready 13 UK 2V GSers who subscribed through this tread for the Big GS-Airheads Summer Tenting do. Hope you can all troop as much as possible together and make the crossing in Group. On the other side guys there will be a Muddy Biker waiting to guide you in. For those who come to the Summer Tenting doo, you are all invited, to become members of GS-Airheads (see "we are all GS-Airheads" on the site www.gs-airheads.be ). Just post a picture of you with your bike, your full name, year of birth, as well as 3 to 5 lines of write-up saying something about yourself and your 2V GS dissease. Your Club T-Shirt you get all during the Summer Tenting do !
And guys bring Sycomoto with Camille in, will you ?

Better make that 14 now Danny.... Looks MickDB1 has us down for another fantastic time in Belgium followed by some time further South in our favourite play area the Ardennes..... Hours of fast riding with no one to hassle you.....

I suppose I'll just have to bring my PD with knobblies seeing as your demanding only GS's Airheads.... My KTM is an airhead too! Or at least the guy that rides it is.....LoL

Beste groeten, beste vriend ! Yes, correct its an event for G/S and GS 2Valve Junkies, so you better saddle up the PD-Horse...Yes the Ardennes are fantastic for twisty roads, but in the recent years they invested in some speed cameras...but with foreign number plates you do not need to worry too much. So after The GS-Airheads event, you can head Ardennes, and if the group wants we sort out a camping there, will help you with that. What we need to know is what beers we need to do in. Normally we keep it simple with (many!) Belgian Pints, but we can also do in Westmalle, Duvel, Afligem...so the type of beers stronger then Barley Wine, everything is possible Archie !
Welcome number 14 !

No.15

Got to know some of these dodgy characters from the UK, so should be good fun.

Hello Danny

Another place please, looking forward to it and meeting you all

Nick

PS Any other folk going from the Midlands? Maybe we could make the weekend a day or two longer?

Nick you're No. 16

Thats what they want to do Nick, after the Tenting do they will head for Ardennes, sure you will have some fun !
Nick, Syco promised my yesterday that he will come too and Bring Camille, would be great isn't it ?
The Rahier Replica job is now in the phase of all dismantled. Got the original 85 underseath Petrol Tank and the original HPN-Acerbis fairing from HPN in Seibersdorf. Possibly by Xmas will have the Bike ready to the Status of Rolling Chassis, I might start a tread then, and post the progress. Also Syco has a few goodies for me (leftovers from when Camille was in Marlboro trim...) and will pick these up in the very near future. Good to hear from you Nick ! Cheers mate !

to Sid, sadly without bike...

Date noted. Just have to get another airhead GS. Perhaps Devon will sell me back the GSPD Classic I stupidly sold to him? If not I will definitely acquire another 2V GS before then.:)

Sid
Sid, if you do not find a Bike there, we can find one for you, prices here for good runners and cosmetically reasonable are 2000-3000 (Euros that is), but Nick from Ashbourne has a very nice one for sale with fat forks, big brakes, but the colour is something to get used too...:rob In any case interesting machine...

Tony G, just go for it mate !

very very temped to go to this one proton1 sounds like good craic:aidan
Tony what can we say ? We will have a price (some bubbly liquid that is) for the one coming from the most far away distance. If you were to do it from Dublin Ireland, you stand a very good chance for Bubbly mate! Do not be temped, just do it. We will invest to put the Union Jack up on the Tenting site, but if you come, The Irish Greeni will high up on its post as well :flag, just hope...by then we still have the Euro

to Scythian (in Flemish)

Well Meneer Proton, I think I shall have fun teaching the UK contingent how to order en grote bak friten :D

Thanks for your PM :thumb2 You are welcome to write in Flemish.
Beste Scytian, is niet Meneer Proton, just call me Danny. Jawel, we zullen het UK contigent leren wat goede Fritten zijn, and no Vinagar on the Fries please, discusting ! They should try the 23 different Mayos ! Might put up my own Frittes Tent there, sounds like will have plenty of customers, wat denk je Scytian (will pay you some commission mate, jij kan gratis eten !)

Nick was at my home two weeks ago helping me finish off another airhead, but not a GS, just an R80/7 being built for my wife. I also have a nice R100RS. Nick also came to pick up yet another airhead I collected for him and I half hoped that he would have delivered the Lego bike at the same time.
I love Nick's (ex Tarka's) Legobike and if he still has it for sale when I'm in a position to buy then I would love to own it as I want a GS that can be used in anger off-road.

Perhaps if I come over on an airhead GS, you would allow my wife to come on her R80/7?

Sid, that Lego Bike is a stunning Machine, if it would have been in another colour, it would have left Nick allready, but hey a paint jobbie is not end of the world. Sure you can bring your wife on her R80/7 ! Its not an event for Blokes only...There will be other Ladies as well mate, believe it or not but soon a lady Biker with GS-PD will join the Member list ...Did you hear about Jutta Kleinschmidt ? Female German Biker, drove the Paris Dakar Race in the 80ties and Pharao Rallies, etc...Everybody can bring his Wife :comfort or girlfriend. Lets hope they understand why men...get together, have a wheelspin, talk bike, get a bit drunk, then get into a little Tent :camping, then get up, have Breakfast, and hit the road for a GS-ride. Not all woman understand this. Hope yours does !
