INVITATION TO THE SUMMER TENTING WEEKEND OF GS-AIRHEADS IN BELGIUM

Please register for the GS-Airheads Tenting do

PLEASE REGISTER FOR THE GS-AIRHEADS TENTING DO:

Through this tread, some people expressed an interest to join us for the GS-Airheads tenting do (dates see above).
We are working on the program and can confirm that a Rock-Blues band playing Stones, early Bowie, Free, etc...Music :thumb will perform on Saturday evening.
Fair to say there will be many 2V GS bikers from Benelux countries, but also from abroad. Until now, it appears there are about 20, 2V GS Bikers from UK that are keen to come over...there might be more when time gets nearer...:rob

We are intending to send full details on this event around mid May 2012. For all of you from UK, wishing to come, you are most welcome. May we ask you to send a short message to [email protected] confirming your participation? In that case we will keep your Email, can sent you the event details around mid may. Remember, we are 1 hour later here. The event place is at 250 minutes from Calais (F), 140 minutes from Zeebrugge (B) , hence add the time of coming down to Folkestone or Dover from wherever in UK, and crossing the Channel by Ferry or Eurotunnel, it will be recommended to come out on the Friday. We are organising our events for Saturday and Sunday. Camping space is plenty (Friday to Monday morning and FREE), food can be organised for Friday evening...and of course truckloads of Beer at cheap prices :thumb is self evident in this country. We do not accept Oilheads, it’s a GS Airheads only do !

Finally, most of you might know each other, through this Forum :comfort, etc...
It would be practical if one of you, takes the initiative, the co-ordinate all these of you coming to the event. Then you could either book Ferry or Eurotunnel crossing tickets in advance, come over as a group.

Finally for those of you coming, we will be asking to transfer a small sum (+/- 25 to 30 Euro) for the food we have to prepare (Burgondian Style BBQ on Saturday eve) and English Style Breakfast on Sunday morning - attention its "eat as much as you can principle" and as small participation in general costs as there are: Sanitary wagon (Showers), Toilet Wagon, Diesel groups for Electrical power, etc... Further drinks :beerjug:will be payable on site (at modest costs...not at UK prices...) as and when you consume.
Remember, GS-AIRHEADS are a club of friends and equally minded:comfort. The event is PRIVATE and on Private Grounds. We are strictly a non-profit organisation and therefore we only seek participation in the costs from the participants. The Rockband performs for free, our tents are donated by BMW Motorrad Belgium, etc....and further our own (Belgium) Members do all the work and organise the events such as the Gymkhana (in a private forest...), local GS-Ride, the big GS-Ride on Sunday, etc...

If you come: confirm to [email protected] , more info will be mailed to you mid May...:type

In addition you may also confirm on this Forum then others also know who is coming...but remember we need your Email address, so please Email as well.

Well...were all you all now ? For the Tenting do in Belgium we have now (with 1 month to go) about 50 G/S and GS (TWIN VALVE!) registered from countries as far as Poland and Austria? Where are you all now ?

Have some news, on Saturday evening we hired a Blues-Rock Band with 70ties stuff... It will be the biggest Twin valve GS (only) gathering in the recent years.

The weather is still shit now, but the weekend of the Tenting do we ordered bright sunshine...let hear something !

Is it to late to apply to this?
Not sure If I can come yet, but if shifts allow..

If I was able there would be a f800gs and 1200gsa to add to the list :)

Regards,
Luke

Echo the thoughts on this event above :thumb2.

Top notch organisation from Danny, Bob and the crew, along with all the other countless volunteers :blagblah who worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly.

Venue was first rate, food ample and delicious, good entertainment and plenty of liquid refreshment :beerjug:. Weather to top it was fuckin scorchio (totally dry throughout) and i know that we were made to feel very welcome by like minded Airhead owners

Big thumbs up for a real cracker of an event :clap, cheers to Danny and the Belgium Airheads :beerjug:
