For anyone who wants to arrive direct as it were.

Tatenhill Airfield
DE13 9PD
Here’s the entrance ….
As you ride in bear right and you’ll see the air traffic tower on your left ….
The cafe is on ground floor with the glass square roof......
Continue about 50 metres or so and the Air Ambulance base is on your left.
We will be parking in the 5 yellow bays you can see , the last one being disabled. The building has a sign on saying it’s the unit training centre.
The cafe is on your left at bottom of control tower.
I’ve briefed ATC, and we will be able to ride onto the dispersal area for a photo of you with your steed in a suitably heroic pose next to the aircraft, should that be of interest.
Anyone who is interested in the aviation bit, I'll be on hand to bore you senseless on all matter associated .............. sit in the aircraft etc etc.
The Paramedics will be able to have a chat too if that is of interest to anyone.
The cafe bloke has been briefed, he's happy enough.
Hopefully most will RV at Starbucks at 10ish.
If you’re there earlier than myself, arriving at 11, could I ask that you park up in the Base parking bays, grab a brew in the cafe and I’ll meet you there, I'll tell the base to expect the bays to be used by us only.
I've ordered a ridge of high pressure so the weather will be fine.................
I'll whats app some folk later re RV for riding down.
Finally............ If the timings don't suit people let me know, I'm very happy to roll the whole thing left a bit if people want to RV earlier, or indeed later.

Can you add me to the list please, I’ll be coming from Cambridge area so will go straight to the airfield for 11am, anyone else riding up from this area wants to tag along you’re welcome .
Anticipated route will be Oundle to Oakham to Melton Mowbray, to Loughborough to Shepshed to Ashby de le Zouch then across to the airfield. All a and b roads no dual carriageways or motorways.
See you Saturday if that’s ok .
