So then me dears .... Wideload and I happened to see each other in Costa (the new sea terminal one ... where my son and I now spend the odd hours inbetween schooling time ...he now part-time educates at school; part time at home) and I said ...."shall I organise a Chrrrristmas doooo" ... and Chris said 'Aye ... that would be a nice idea" ...SO

I thought about a Sunday meal at Milntown in Ramsey. A little pricey but good food .... OR we could do one of their evening meals that they do every now and then. I could ask Jen (the manager) when their one in November is ... and let you know. What do you think?

Can you pm me or answer here. If it's not feasible for folk (re dosh at this time - what with this lovely recession and so on) we could just have a good old chinwag at the pub ..... I really don't mind ....

Can't do 4th, 18th, 19th or 20th but apart from that I'm OK. Can't speak for Mrs Baps as she does work evenings during the winter.

Pick a date and we'll see.

As for venue, I have no particular issues with anything or anywhere. We've never been to Milntown so that sounds OK (and convenient), but I'm very flexible with food!!!

The Views in Onchan is very good btw and I thoroughly recommend it. the Black Pudding starter is well nice!

Hello Me Dears - well just got the OK from the Piebaps and his Mrs; so it's the usual gang .... we're not a big biker group ... but we're loyal eh?

I will ring The Views tomorrow and book a lunch time meal for us at 1pm on the 27th November - 7 of us - and anyone else who spots this and is either over .. or gets off their lazy bums (not mentioning Manxpanzer at ALL ) and answers the post .... let me know and I will add you in ...

really looking forward to seeing youse all ... and VERY glad that it will be in a nice warm venue where we won't freeze our arses off nattering (I was bloody cold at The Creek last time if I remember correctly ...it were THAT long ago!!
