I mentioned it elsewhere but thought I’d start a new thread as this may be quite a common ‘issue’ when IOS26 is on general release in September .
I’ve been running IOS 26 for a few weeks and on the last day of my recent trip had an issue with the legibility of the arrival time/miles/minutes remaining both using MRA or Google Maps via my Aoocci C6 Pro.Not sure why the issue only cropped up on the last day, but I thought I had an issue with the Aoocci.Turns out it’s simply due to the new liquid glass display concept on the iPhone using IOS26.
The display of arrival time/miles etc became very hard to read .
You can see it here, though the phone camera makes it look clearer than it really is

But if you look in the phone under Settings/Accessibility/Display and Text Size, there are some new toggle switches, namely Reduce Transparency and Increase Contrast

Turn on Reduce Transparency and the above screen now looks like this

Further turn on Increase Contrast and it’s now even clearer

Thought it worth mentioning here, though perhaps the general release of IOS26 may be clever enough to automatically toggle these settings on if it knows your using CarPlay for navigation.
