Would this software change your IP address ?
I know it says it does but i am always dubious about free downloads?

There's no real link to the suppliers homepage. Dubious.

Your ip address on broadband is dynamic usually, and assigned via dhcp. There's no real need to change it. If you need to change it on a private subnet at home, go do it via tcp/ip properties for the connection concerned.

There's a fair chance this is some sort of trojan.

if you let us know what your trying to do, there will be easier ways to change your IP address.
