On a more serious note, SWMBO has one and her daughter has bought her an adapter that allows a usb connection from a camera or a SD card to be plugged in to aid the download of photos. Unfortunately it seems it is gonna be a Christmas present so unable to say how good it is.......sorry

Apple Camera Connector Kit about £25 and very handy if you have a Camera. The kit contains two items that can be plugged into the iPad connector. One is a USB socket which can be connected to many cameras for downloading photos or videos. I believe this may also be used for connecting some other USB devices, I have used it with a Sandisk SDHC card reader and it worked fine.

The other item is an SD card reader and my preferred method of transferring my photos/videos. Its a pity that the iPad dosn't come with a USB port and SD card socket but at least this kit gets around the problem.

I got a clear silicon protective sleeve for about £3 off ebay and its handy in the house as it stops the iPad slipping out of hands and gives it some protection. If I am taking it out and about then I use a iPad flip over case that doubles as a stand for watching movies. A bit similar to the apple offering but only about £8 off ebay.

The only other accessory I have is an iPad USB Charge & Sync Docking Cradle / Stand - Black which cost £4.99 from 7dayshop.com
