iPad smartarse predictive text

What a pain in the arse it is when I'm writing in Welsh, it mangles all the words and drives me 'kin nuts. How can I switch it off?

Actually, it does eventually learn the more commonly used ones but it fights every inch of the way, trying every possible combination of spellings, however improbable before finally accepting what I have written. Can you help, please?

Trust me, you could still have a problem. Luckily I check posts anyway and can correct them, but on the rare occasion I have typed in Welsh I had to correct every single word.
