what the iphone really needs is a one touch app that switches the thing into low battery use mode.

if you do it manually it take ages to switch off 3G, GPS, WI-FI etc. as they are spread over several menus.

can't get that link to work, but i'm guessing that's an app for jailbroken phones?
don't think there's on via itunes app store yet, needed for 3G iPhones.
