Iphone connected to starcom and powered from a car 12v socket that is wired directly to the battery. It all works.##

Until I turn over the engine. I've got that alternator noise in the speakers that matches revs.

It disappears when I unplug the iphones charging cable.

Is there anyway of earthing something to get past this? It's a very annoying sound.

It sounds like feedback caused by having 2 items powered from the same feed. Buy a power filter from Starcom to put in line for the intercom. Worked for me.
