Morning folks,

I’ve been using my Capuride for the last year which is great piece of kit. However ther have been a couple of occasions (not the capuride fault) where an app requires a slight button press from the phone. So phone out of pocket which is a pain.

So has anyone got any experience on handlebar mounts that will be secure with the metal ring on iphone case and save me having to remove phone from case to use on bike?

Thinking other option is ultimate addons larger case to take an iPhone 15max in its case and still be usable.

Looking at this but would it work with phone in case, some review reckon it does. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lamicall-M...46999&hvtargid=pla-2281435176618&gad_source=1

Any experiences and thoughts?

Thanks in advance.
Mark

Peak Design. Best mount I’ve used . Much better than Quadlock. Many converts such as Wapping and EVskij. The cases are great and the mounting system so much better than Quadlock .
They do a wireless charging version now too.

I'm a convert from Quadlock to Peak Design. No looking back! Have two of the wireless charging mounts, no messing about trying to align etc.

Quad lock here. It does the job well. It doesn’t cost much, it has wireless charging if required, it has the damper system to protect the phone camera and so far it hasn’t fallen off.

Thanks, the peak design items do they require a case to be bought or does it attach to the mag on phone?

Thanks

You'd need a case, as you do with quad lock. It attaches to the bracket by a cleat, don't think a magnet alone would be secure enough. The magnet aligns it to make it easier.
Quadlock was ok but a bit of a faff aligning it to turn and lock. it's worth the extra for PD.

Forget everything else exists. I even have one of their mounts on my Brompton bicycle.

No you do not have to buy the case, and instead buy this adaptor. But at that price, I’d sooner buy a new case, which is really nice to hold, has a nice fabric feel to it, makes your phone considerably slimmer than any other case out there and said case also supports MagSafe charging, plus mounting of accessories such as wallets etc.

Have a look at their website for all things mobile phones.

I use one of these for my power vision on the Harley, but that's also secured by the cable. Don't think I'd risk it with just the double sided tape.
