Ok searched an can't seem to find an answer to this one.

My Iphone is bluetoothed to the zumo 660 and is paired and they connect ok, can play on the zumo an make calls read the contacts list etc of my iphone on the zumo screen

Ipod is wired to the Starcom with the lead provided in the starcom box and works fine

the mike is in the right position in the helmet as the vox seems to work ok as I only have to make the slightest noise and the ipod mutes,

zumo is wired to the starcom with a CAB66 cable (single lead end into the starcom and the 2 other ends into the mike and audio lead of the zumo

Ipod mutes when the zumo give me a direction change etc

everything seems to work as I can make calls and recieve them I can hear the other person but they cant hear me.:nenau

cant seem to see anything in the iphone settings to set up.

am I missing somthing simple here.

is the lead, iphone to starcom a 4pole plug?? that's what the iphone or the blackberry (and many mp3 stereo phones) require. Or as in my Autocom, a 4 pole to 3 pole 3.5mm stereo lead for the blackberry/iphone.

iphone is connected via bluetooth only to zumo

zumo is connected to starcom via CAB66 starcom cable

I've just received a CAB66 cable from starcom, it says make sure you plug it into the Phone socket on the starcom unit, not the satnav socket... Soz if you've already done that!

THAT''s exactly where I plugged it in, in the first place............. worrying though as it still does not work. Maybe Starcom technicians in the UK can comment on this matter...?

all I can sugest is disconnect everything and reset ur starcom (press both arrows for 8 seconds)
then plug everything in from scratch.
dont just plug everything in as was.......go through the whole process as if u dont have a clue and follow the instructions.
Its amazing what you find that you thought was done right that ends up being the fault:rob

best of luck matey:thumb

Sent both the links on this forum with regard to the bluetooth/phone problem to TECSTAR and have asked them for help and comments.

Received an email this morning with the following suggestion:

"Try Pairing the phone with the phone volume set to low"

so let's see......... :thumb2
