Hi all,

Can anyone give any recommendations as to how I can use a bluetooth helmet headset to lisen to my iPod and be sync'ed with my phone?

TIA

Charlie

Think you'd have to use something like the Jabra A125s or the NaviPod adaptor. The iPod can't transmit Buletooth as it were.

Hi,

Thanks, I know the iPod cant transmit, but wondered if there was an adaptor??

The Navipod is just a remote control I think..

This is what you need. And an ortliebe phone bag to keep yer pod dry :thumb2

If you get a phone that plays music too, like wot I av, then you can bin the evil "i" thing aswell and just have one device :thumb

sweet recommendation!

Do the earphones fit in the helmet ok?? or are you using just a wireless headset like a Scala headset (i am thinking of useing one of them)

Cheers

bacically i want to get a Scala bluetooth headset and I want to play my iPod through it

They do, but they are about three times the thickness of the Scala's I think, and the microphone doesn't work cos it's built into the RH earpiece which means it's buried in the lining. I don't make calls when riding so it don't matter to I. My lid has suitable recesses for them to fit(the bmw one with the spoiler on it). At 20 quid you can't go wrong either! How much are Scala's? ;)
