iPOd & and WINDOWS pC

Every time I plug the ipod into the PC (windows) is suposse to show on iTunes.
But lately it refuses: a warning "Unknown device found " appears and then I can't reach the ipod to download.

Suggestions, please?

Buy an iMac (you did ask)

Go to control panel;system;add remove progs and uninstal the iPOd stuff Yosi, then reinsert the iPod disk and re-instal it.

It sounds like the drivers have gone wonky...this should fix it.
