Right guys and girls, this is the situation:

I'm trying to do a few things with my iPod (5G-80Gb).
There is approx 57Gb of music on it in various formats, mp3, mp4a, acc, wav etc.

I use Media Monkey and iTunes to load and maintain it (only because MM won't see mp4a files).
The files are a mix of stuff downloaded or burnt from my own CD's, iTunes and Allofmp3.

I have CopyPod, NoteBurner, Godfather, iLibs, iCloner, CopyPod Photo etc.

I have copied the stuff to one file with CopyPod and now want to turn all of them into mp3's.
I've tried using NoteBurner for this but to be honest it's a pain in the arse, it wants to use my 'default' media player which is OK except that WMPlayer only wants to play the WAV, mp3 and a few other files, iTunes wants to play the mp4a files etc, etc.

There MUST be an easier way....is there?:nenau

Never used a WAV file but does iTunes not recognise and encode into MP3? In the preferences (Mac may be settings on the PC) under advanced and into the import section you can choose what format to import your files as. The files already in itunes can have thier encoding changed using this, just highligt them and under the Advanced menu is the option to "convert selection" (no need to re-import) then once the file has been processed delete the original.
It might take some time, so perhaps do this in parts rather than the whole lot at once, and I have found the all but files bought through iTunes (which are copy protected) will convert and that 192 kbps with VBR (variable bit recording) switched on gives decent quality particularly for the iPod.
