iPod Problem

My son has recently acquired an iPod Nano.

The programme CD won't install on his PC (Windows XP op syst). Error message "1607:Unable to install Installshield Scripting Runtime".

He has tried it successfully on someone else's PC so the problem appears to be with his computer. No problems recently encountered installing other programmes.

Anybody got any ideas how to identify & fix this problem?
