hi just got a touch and set it up and its put all my songs in itunes my mate has same set up how do i get songs off his itunes it says i can only have 1library

if you hold down the shift key and keep it held down as you double click iTunes this will open up a box asking what library you want to connect to

If you mean copy tunes from his itunes to yours then it's just a case of copying the music files over to your PC unless it's bought music through iTunes then I don't think you can
