Ireland 2023.

.The old Ireland I knew as a kid is disappearing

I don’t disagree with your comments but our friend only has 5 days, not knowing his ferry times that might not even be full days, and he wants to do the south west so, in my opinion, he doesn’t have time to experience anywhere else without seriously compromising his experience of the south west.

on the Ring of Kerry coaches go one direction only - clockwise. You can avoid meeting them by going same direction.

Good to be reminded of this.

Although, as previously mentioned, this information is incorrect. Coaches go anti-clockwise. Start at Killarney then Killorglin, Cahersiveen, Waterville etc

You are quite right....time is limited. Ferry gets in at 4.30pm on day 1....and we are leaving on day 4 at 2.45pm from Dublin.
