I was given the jbo of carting all the luggage so as not to spoil the look of the Zed

So we did just over 1500 miles... 200 miles a day was really the limit as the roads aren't especially good... next time i think I'd take a GS !! I think its much prettier than Scotland, but the roads arent as good for a blast, so I'd recommend Ireland if you want to do a gentle tour, but not have to worry about riding on the wrond side of the road, or doing a thousand miles until you find something scenic...

Oh and i only tried one pint of Guinness...... Tasted the same as at home... Dissapointing... ! :P :P :P

And the obligatory video....

The only bike for the job over here CJ. :thumb2

Depends on which roads you take though. ;)

Having done both I would say the north West of Scotland has the nicer roads for making progress... The type of roads where a GS can struggle to keep up with sportsbikes... However in Ireland a GS would be better...:D

Depends on your definition of progress, on most roads where I live if I manage to get up to 110KMH I am definitely making progress and having fun too...
