Ireland - still up there!!

960 Foreign company's! That doesn't make for a strong economy, it' makes an economy that is susceptible to a sudden withdrawal of inwards investment.

Just make sure your Prime Minister doesn't fold with regard to Ireland's Corporation Tax, there was an article in yesterdays Sunday Express by some yank saying it would mean a tragedy for Ireland if it were to rise, companies like Microsoft, HP, Google and the like said to be watching developments with a keen interest.

Just make sure your Prime Minister doesn't fold with regard to Ireland's Corporation Tax,

Our Government and public servants are only too aware of the
value of the low corporation tax. They Busy themselves Daily with battering
Home grown indigineous industry and
they continue to Sewn up home grown industry with bureaucratic Bullshit
and endless red tape ....
At least the Wankers are going to give us a wee Touch of competitiveness back by lowering
the national min wage

give us a wee Touch of competitiveness back by lowering the national min wage

To motivate the ruling class you increase income - to motivate the working class cut income.
That makes sense in a country that privatises profits & socialises losses.

At least the Wankers are going to give us a wee Touch of competitiveness back by lowering the national min wage

And how will that help the people of Ireland then? The incompetent rich bankers and even more incompetent politicians get your country in a mess and then they cut the pay of those who can least afford to have their pay cut, you've got a worse shower of cnuts running your country than I thought.

you've got a worse shower of cnuts running your country than I thought.

And will the next shower of cnuts who will be elected in the forthcoming election be any better............:nenau

I know we have a few Public servants on the Site ,
I am not aiming at you personally ,
But EVERY TIME i try something new , i get a Kick in the BAlls from
some F***Wit Public servant .... With this rule and that Rule ,
and jump through this hoop for the Simplest of things ,,,,,,,,,,
It Took me 4 Runs to my local tax office to get tax on a Vehicle
because the RSA in their wisdom decided i needed a Garda to verify that
it was ,,,,, what it so F***ing obviously was ,,,,,,, ANOTHER NEW RULE
EVERY fu**ing day there are new RULES ........
All these NEW Rules Cost and i cant afford it ,, In better times , i may have been more tolerant ,
but the money simply isnt there to meet these ever more expensive rules .
Not that i realise we need a set of Rules to make sure everyone plays Fair and the Customer is kept safe ,,
But this last while its Rules for the Sake of Rules ,,,,,, UNREAL ,,,,,,,,,

**** the lot of them ,,,,,,,,,

Just a small point Civil.

The Rules are set by the Department of Transport and have to be adhered to by the RSA staff. As someone who works for RSA I don't take what you said personally but would just like to say that if I don't stick to my guidlines and rules my job is on the line....(honest guv). So try not to be too hard on the guys behind the counter because we do get a lot of abuse from people on a daily basis.:aidan

Corpo tax is safe as houses. They've done a deal with the IMF to cut the minimum wage and social welfare payments instead. Rich stay rich, poor stay poor. What could be fairer than that!

A certain Mr. Fitzpatrick of Anglo fame used to sing loudly off that hymn sheet - too much regulation, too much regulation strangling enterprise. In retrospect we no know differently; or most of us do.

Gerry , I have to hand it to you ,, you could pick any one of thousands
of Irish Employers , and you pick one that went astray .
This last while i notice your leftist tendencies shining through.
If all you lot can do is plead about the Case of the ""Worker""
have a wee think to yourself . Where would that worker be
without the ENGINE of the Nation that is the S.M.E. or the
Tiny enterprise that gives the worker something to do ,
whilst wrangling the Irish RED Tape brigade ......... THAT IS
our public service.

Tell me Gerry , how many people do you
directly employ . Or are you another of these BARSTOOL
socialists ? .... You probably are a Public servant. ? .......
Thats how you can afford your "Socialist Leftist Views"....

Thanks , i have an inkling of how our Warped Broken System has failed us.
I would never Dream of giving the Girl on the counter a hard time ,
{ i think she fancies me , I reckon she opens her blouse a Button lower when i call in }

Well Philip I work as a scientist in the health service; don't directly employ anybody & have left of centre views. I'm unsure of what a BARSTOOL socialist is; as part of my work I investigate stool for enteric infection including tapeworm but not of the red variety - the wee think you recommend is possibly taking me in the wrong direction.
It is truly a pity that I chose the one employer that went astray & undermined your prejudices. To those prejudices add this "one that went astray" delusion. Hold tight to that bar & dont get off the stool 'till it stops moving - theres a good lad. :comfort
