Well I think Enda told it as it is. We are all in it up to our tits. As a parent I am coming to terms with saying goodbye to my emigrating kids, as a company director I see the other problems everyday. I dont blame him (Enda Kenny) for the crap budget thats coming our way....... he is just the guy cleaning up after the other clowns. Yes they are all the same (politicians) but I do not envy his job as our leader.

It would shut up some of those complaining - me for one, if all those at the top did likewise.
There is much fury from those at the bottom, earning the least and paying the most.

Enda comes across (to me anyhow) as a spineless weasel. Would love someone with a pair of balls in power. Tell the Germans to play ball or we're out. We're out and their fucked.... It will only take one country to walk and France will loose it's triple A rating and the German bonds will start creeping up (I think they have already).....

I left school in 1979. Most of my mates went to Oz & USA. . . . sound familiar ? Emigration is cyclical, my 23 year old daughter will return from australia in five or six years. Meanwhile she is earning four times the amount that graduates earn here in Ireland. Again I dont support any particular party but it really annoys me when Michael Martin gives out about Enda kenny. Pot... kettle... black .

i didnt watch it, was going to but i alreayd know how screwed we are and that we going pay for it for years. "we" as int he middle and lower class and lower end paid, not high end officals, bankers, builders and managers etc, thoes who milked it when was good and fooked off when got bad.

Not for the last 15 - 20 years, in fact there's been net immigration into Ireland during that period. People still emigrated but that was their choice, not something forced on them.

It seems there may still be some good job opportunities here, just depends on the sector, but certainly not in anything to do with construction

Enda was democratically elected and Monti is the unelected representative of international banking trying to stall some horrendous potential bank losses.

Big difference in my humble opinion.
