Still plodding around on my GSA1150 itching for a new 2015 GSA to replace it with.
Is it now generally agreed that the gear box works and all the other winges are sorted since the move over to WC or should I hold of a while longer. Second question is its now March 2015' how far off am I if I hold back a while for a M.Y 2016

Hold off much longer and you will have to start all over waiting. IMHO the bike is sorted just fine.

Jim

I have been watching and waiting to see how things unfold with the W.C. and decided now is the time, So I orded a GS in late January fully loaded apart from keyless. It's now at the dealers in Spain waiting to be picked up and brought into Gib to be registeted and MOT done ( in Gib every thing has to have an M.O.T ) Soooooo hopefully this time next week it will be back in Spain with me on it, in the mountains.:bounce1:bounce1:bounce1

All sorted mate I had a 13 gs and now a 15 gsa although my 13 was trouble free the 15 is a lot smoother at lower speeds no surging at 3/4 k revs and gearbox is great especially with gear shift, some have moaned and about paint wearing on the frame by there boots but no probs for me fantastic bike!

Agree , the 15 is the one to have ,, all sorted , go get it man !

There was nothing much wrong with it from the start - I am replacing my 2013 LC with a 2015 TE on the first of April - forget the GSA get the better looking, sleeker, faster GS instead- those slab sides and oversized tank on the GSA just look soooooo nasty :)

Don't trouble yourself going you collect.
I can drop it down for you,

Thanks Pat for the offer, but it has to come to Gib on a truck and imported , that way I don't pay the IVA. That's the good bit. The bad bit is I have to pay import duty.

I've got a 2015 GSA and I'm about 30 miles east of Malaga, how long is it taking to cross into/out of Gib theses days?

To keep the topic on track the 2015 GSA is the mutts nuts, just get one!!

Straight through, be a cheeky monkey and push in past the queue of cars. On the way out there is a scooter lane tight enough on a fully dressed GSA but massive fun.

Might take you upto two minuets on a bad day. Like Pat says just follow the scooters past the cars (its expeted, ) and you are in. Show your passport to the Spanish police, 5 yards later show it to the Gib offices and you are in.

Have to say my 2013 GS has been excellent, been running around on a 2008 RT for a couple of weeks which I actually love but a great whizz out toady on the LC and it really is superb, gears spot on, no surging only thing a find is brake pad wear must be all the going fast!!
