I have a 2016 F800GS, i find the clutch too heavy to one finger pull with my index finger when riding off road. What are my options to reduce the force needed to pull the clutch?

I've seen the Magura Hydraulic conversion but cant seem to find one for sale anywhere!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve had a few of these 800s a gt gs and a gsa. I never found the clutch action to be heavy. I don’t ride off road so maybe your requirements are different to mine. At 10 years old a new clutch cable and lubricant on all the pivot points might improve the action. JJH

The clutch is very heavy for off road use 😂

Riding off road you slip the clutch 1000x more than you ever would on the road, you use the clutch to modulate the power output on loose or difficult terrain. When you're trying to do that all day with one finger ☝️ it gets very difficult. The 'whiskey throttle phenomenon is usually a result of poor clutch control.

Hand and finger strengthening exercises involve simple movements like squeezing a soft ball, pinching therapy putty, and using rubber bands for resistance to improve grip and flexibility

Effective Hand and Finger Exercises
    • Grip Squeeze: Squeeze a soft stress ball or rolled-up sock for 5 seconds, then release. Repeat 10 times per hand.
    • Finger Extension (Rubber Band Resist): Place a rubber band around your fingers and gently open your hand wide like a claw against the resistance. Do 10 repetitions.
    • Fingertip Pinch: Pinch a piece of therapy putty or a small soft object between your thumb and each individual fingertip in sequence.
    • Finger Lift: Rest your hand flat on a table and lift each finger up one at a time, then lower it back down.
    • Thumb Touch: Touch the tip of your thumb to the tip of each finger one by one, forming an "O" shape, to build fine motor control

Have you tried Venhill ?
Beileve they do the Magura Hymec conversion kits

There are a number of ‘easy pull’ clutch devices on the market, mainly aimed at those with off road bikes. They work on a leverage system to reduce the ratio of force needed to actuate the clutch.

This one is a chinese copy, maybe worth a try?
