Feeling pretty flat just now- the hail stones are lashing the windows and it's freezing outside.

I did a whole lot of feck all today and really struggled to get off my arse and do anything.

We're just back from a great week over on Tiree and maybe the post holiday blues are getting to me.

Plus my van broke down today.

The forecast for the week ahead is looking shyte.

So I'm feeling a bit miserable.

Hope tae feck the weather improves and we get out on the bikes this weekend.

Wet is OK, Cold is OK, Wind is OK.

But not all together- please.

:( Same weather over in NI but we got it yesterday!

Was on my way over the sperrins to Londonderry ( Derry) and hit gails with hail showers!!:aidan

Yup . . know how you feel.

I'm not long back from a three-week 4,750 mile bike trip to Bosnia.

And now I've got a stinking cold :tears

And there was a freezing gale blowing today.

I must do some work on the bikes and get my lathe working - but couldn't be bothered.

I blame the Medinite :augie

Hopefully I'll acclimatise soon :D.

Well its a glorious sunny morning up here in the Mearns. Cold mind you, ice on the poodles and I did hear the gritters out last night so thats the salt down until next April.

But I'm off out for a day in the dubs on my old XR650r so life is good. (better becuase it had sat for a year and all it needed was some fresh fuel and a few hefty kicks)

Weather in Caithness has been sunny and 'kin cold today. Was going to take Mr Bumble out for a blat around Bettyhill/Altnaharra...but by the time I'd sorted meself out it was too late to set orf....bummer.

Shite forecast for next few days ..so I'll have to resort to cleaning the bike in the shed.

I can thoroughly recommend repeated doses of good food and strong drink to assist you through the cold, miserable months ahead:beerjug:

Klanky,

It's going to be howling windy and wet so park the bike outside, throw some soap at it and leave nature to take it's course:thumb2

'I've a copy of "On Any Sunday" '

good for you Bob. Good reminder - so have I and not watched it for some time. Mine has the wee extra bit about S. McQueen.

Must go and get it out - what a laugh at some of the antics :thumb

No chance, Wully. The last bike I left out in a howlin' gale in Caithness ended up in Norway..........:D

That's the one :thumb.

I have been perusing the Duke Video Catalogue and have told the family that I'll order some DVDs that they can give me for Christmas.

Better than socks :D

Or M&S 'Blue Harbour' shirts :blast
