Is my battery dead?

Sorry to be a pain, but I need to be sure that I am ordering the right battery. I am looking at this website:

http://www.tayna.co.uk/batterygroups/83/519-013-Motorcycle-Batteries-page1.html

The lady I spoke to, recommended the Westco one, apparently has a good cranking power (but it is out of stock until next week).

Or shall I go for the Numax one (cheapest). Both are gel battery.

What worries me it is the measurement of the battery, slightly different. Would the Numax one fit the 850GS?

Thanks
JC

Is that Numax one gel? - it just says 'sealed' in the description. Anyone's guess whether the difference in dimensions will matter.

I'd get an OEM Exide - guaranteed to fit and works just fine :nenau

Hi Matt, thanks. I have Googled OEM Exide and can't really find anything specific. I have found this one on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Numax-MB12V20...84?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item518e0efda4

And in the description it says "Numax batteries are built with advanced technology to ensure the highest standards for reliability, durability and performace at an excellent price and are made by Exide batteries so you are ensured of a quality product."

No mention of R850GS, but according to the measurement and the fact that the 1100 is the same bike, this should fit no?
Thanks
JC
