Hi all,

I have now got my battery on charge, although the charger says 'connected' but not 'charging' or 'charged'.

It has been left several times to go flat before being revived. My question is, how many times can a gel battery be brought back from the dead?

I ask because even after riding 4 hours a day for five days the ABS lights would still be flashing which I understand means a low voltage in the system.

Thanks,
DA

If it starts the bike it probably wont be the battery . check the cranking voltage . oh , and have you reset the abs , you bridge a wire between 2 terminals in the fuse box to do this but I cant remember which 2 because i'm very very drunk
HTH , Jok

or is it the diagnostic port ???? don't bridge wires until you clarify

Thanks

I have just realised that the battery will charge more quickly if I plug in the correct extension lead :augie
