We fancy taking the bikes for a spot of off-road practice but finding somewhere suitable AND convenient is not easy. One place that ticks all the boxes is the BMW off-road school near Abercrave.

When I did the course a few years ago, I'm sure there were loads of Land Rovers, other 4x4s and off-road bikes not connected with the course sharing the same tracks, but does anyone know if its open to the public? :nenau

Me, jimbo and Ian used the off-road centre last winter - Jim was the guy in the know. My understanding from him, is that it is free to the public during the winter period... apart from when the Rally is on as they use it.

Highly recommended - enjoy :thumb2

That's pretty odd - we did get stopped by some warden looking people... after we had a chat they seemed fine :nenau

But if we are not supposed to Walters park... I would rather not piss the owner off!

Whilst there the other year I asked the instructors this question as there were some private non-bm bikes riding around. It's private land and, as a result, I believe the public has no right to ride there. However, I think they don't really try to enforce it too hard (no doubt because of the difficulties in doing so).
