Is there a cheaper car mount for the Zumo 400/500 range other than the Garmin £50+ ?

Hi,

I've been trying to find a reasonably priced car mount for my Zumo that won't break the air vents, wobble over every bump or look like it was made from a mutant form of Lego. (By reasonable I mean sub £25)

Have any of you found something decent ? I don't need the voice commands or a second power supply as I've converted the bike to accept a cigar lighter plug from the Zumo. I just need something stable that can be properly mounted in the car.

Many thanks,

Mike

If you're asking how to adapt with much cheapness and few beer tokens :D .. the cradle is Garmin, but it has the 4 hole AMPS fix pattern.

Assuming that only the anchored ball stays on the bike, so arm and everything else including cradle comes away, then use RAP-224-1 twist lock suction cup base and RAM-B-238 for attaching to inside windscreen (clean and dry, then its sticks like sh*t :augie)

I could also think of doing it with RAP-B-166-1 which has square base and four hole fix so marries onto Garmin cradle
