After five years and two 1150 GS's I'm thinking of going over to the dark side and getting aK KTM Adventure. Although the 1200 is a nice bike, it lacks the 1150's composure and presence, and it's bloody expensive for what it is.

This site is truly magnificent if you own a GS, does anyone know of anything similar for KTM?

As above but they don't tend to spill the beans on the probs,
your more likely to get the info you require on this site :beerjug:

Don't spill the beans

Gauloise,
What problems??
I think the 950 will always have a smaller uptake as it is more focused than the GS range of bikes. Fewer issues have arisen than with the launch of the R1200GS for example and these have been hightlighted on all of the sites. Isn't that the beaty of the internet, every :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor: has his point of view, no matter how misguided;-))

Try this one

i digress slightly but ive had all three bikes 1150 /1200/950 they are all great each do thieir own thing well ,ive come back to a 1200,[better back up than the ktm ,although ive still got a 660 smc super moto , the ktm's are well sorted m/c 's but personally i do not believe they are real world m/c's they seem to have quite short service intervals , i don't think ewan and charlie would have made it on a ktm . Enjoy youre new ride get one with akra's on it it makes a difference and sounds awsome , also make sure the mods have been done ie carb heaters ,clutch push rod
