Can anyone recommend a good indepedent spannerman for servicing an 1150GS in the Merseyside area ?

A northern Steptoe would be ideal.......

Worth the travel from Merseyside, Mitch is now on the same site as PB Tyres just past the Haydock junction M6 and A580 at Golbourne so its easy from Merseyside. Great spanner man. Always busy but hey the best ones always are.....Ell

Can reccommend Roy at Bretherton too. Did my tyre for me an wee shugie uses him and reccommended him to me. Bikes booked in next week for service. Nice bloke, explains all, clean workshop, and best of all a good grub spot accross the way.

Thanks for the replies. I called Roy and Mitch (at Motorrad) as suggested.
Both had answerphones on. Roy called me back within 30 mins. Mitch didn't bother. So Roy it is.

Went there this afternoon and had the following jobs done........

Replaced alternator drive belt, balanced fuel injection, ran computerised diagnosis (no faults reported), fitted new plug to (supplied) Optimate to run off accesory socket:

Bill = £32 (coffee & biscuits included....)
