I know there are numerous Loctite or thread lock products out there for different jobs, but I’m looking for a general product that I can use on most accessories without having to resort to different specifications, etc. The recommendations please.

I’ve always used this for everything

Where it’s needed I use JB Weld blue for things that need to come apart from time to time and JB Weld red for things that hopefully will never need to be undone for a very long time or that really really mustn’t ever come ever so slightly loose. JB Weld Red needs heating up to soften it before undoing. There’s even stronger stuff out there too.

Got this " blue" from the Lidl centre isle, cheap and cheerful and does the job.

Loctite 243 as previously mentioned does most things.

Some manufacturers do specify stronger stuff for some fasteners though. Sprocket bolts for instance.

Choose the best Loctite for your specific application here.

As stated above, 243 is good for medium strength day-to-day needs
