Is there a way to look up a part number and check where it's from?

I have what I suspect is an r1100 wheel, but I'd like to check for sure. My plan has been to fit alloys to my 1150 but when I tried to fit this wheel it seemed to be a few mm too narrow. I wanted to check exactly which wheel it was so I could check it will fit without needing any mods.

part number is 36.31-2 312 282 MTH2 3.5x17 E

I couldn't find a model to relate it to on the Max fiche (although the search does return a matching part it just helpfully says 'wheel' with no reference to a model).

However This page (google translation of Japanese) list one for sale saying it's from an R1100 RTP

Thanks for the replies, sadly going through the max fiche doesn't do more than list that it's a wheel. I've been through all the mentioned bikes and none of them have this wheel listed, so I'm still none the wiser.

Think the only way to check is to actually strip the disks off both wheels and get an accurate measure on the hub width. That'll have to wait until I can spare a weekend without it.

Thanks.
