Looking for a way out
Just been servicing the 1150. The tick-over is a bit lumpy so I checked for anything amiss.
There is a little bass 'nipple' in the Right hand inlet that is sucking it air. Doesn't look right at all. I can't find a pipe not connected, but it looks like a small hose should be on it.
can anyone tell me what it should be doing?

needs a rubber teet

there should be a small rubber cover on it, this is the point where you attach the injector balancing thingumajig.
You will have to ride with your thumb over it:rolleyes:

no, there is a rubber bung missing

I lost one of mine - I fashioned a temporary fix with a half inch length of rubber pipe which was a perfect fit for the brass nipple. I blanked off the open end with an appropriate sized screw - I've still got it in the garage in case of a similar emergency:D
