Is this normal with w/wheels

I noticed today a line in the back wheel, is this normal on all wire wheels !

Its more visual than then the cam picture.

Yeah I presumed so, but surely it should not be noticeable ! But than again .......

Welding . The rim of the wheel is welded at this point and the alloy will take on a slightly different structure after heating . Anodizing will give different shades of colours depending on the type of alloy used.
