Just seen a 1996 R100 GS PD on Gary's website (BAMW) in red and white. He has it listed as a limited edition of 200 for a riders club in Germany. I have seen this one (below) advertised and like the look of it. It's a 1991 (frame and engine nos stack up). I have looked at other 90 - 91 bikes and they seem to have the square block script on the tank, so is this a correct colour and graphic combination for a 91 bike?

Thanks

C

There's one HERE that looks the same, on a cursory glance

Reading back through the thread I think I've thrown a curve ball in there. Nobody has actually mentioned the pebble dash scheme.

I'm getting concerned about the number of squeky clean airheads appearing and people wondering about what's original or not...we have low standards on ukgser that need to be maintained :rob

Found this one listed as an 1991. It is an 800 not a 1000. So this colour / graphic scheme must have been available at the time.

Oh trust me Rob, it'll never be done again.......I'm still sore !!

Are you on the looking to buy that PD Tetley ?
(I recognise the name from Crash.net ?)

Nice to see a Ribena coloured bike though. There aren't many about. Bump muncher went the whole hog and tracked down an original BMW over suit in that colour to match his bike :D

Yep, think Ive done the deal, I was just wanted to check the graphic / colour. I am worried that you recognise my name from crash.net, what is that?

No need to be worried - it's a motorsports site for bike racing that covers, WSBK, MotoGP, BSB etc.
Nice bike a good look with it if you buy. Looks really nice !

That mad thing is, BMW call it Avus Blue !! I can only imagine an oversuit in that colour.............
