Is this the R1300GS. Looks like it could be

Looks like the suspension has collapsed - maybe it has a MotoGP ride height device?

I'm with richardbd on this one, I thought cross tourer as soon as I saw it,
Let's hope it's got cross tourer quality & reliability :sneaky:.
Ian.

as they get bigger engined and heavier they are just less and less of a GS. If you cannot pick it up on your own, would you really take it off on the Gelande? or just stick to the strasse? it is like all the 4x4 cars owned and run with road only tyres as the nearest they go to off road is when the owner is shite at parallel parking and runs up the kerb.

its why I still own a 1100 but mainly ride a 1000XR... I do not do as much green laning any more

Seconded!

It sort of does look Cross Tourerish.

It seems the more these EU emission regs are tightened up, the heavier and less efficient the big bikes become because they need the extra cubes to make them competative with the competition. Duel sport machines had all the power and stompt they needed with the 1200 imho. It all becomes more of a compromise both on and off road as bulk and running costs invariably increase. I won't be joining the bandwagon as I'm minded these days to think "newer isn't always "better".

The publisher of those pictures says the image is distorted, the originals were low quality. They claim bike has 3 inch auto lowering suspension and it saves 15kg in weight over the 1250 because it has cast frame components. Additionally they confirm Sky Sports is free for one year on the enlarged dash screen.
