Glad to see that it wasn’t just my bike they didn’t paint properly. I had to use some black touch up paint behind where those bolts go, as mine was also unpainted.

They did paint it properly. The problem is, they then drilled some holes and machined the surface ready to accept the spade that goes on the GS, much like they do with engine casings
