My optimate was showing that my battery may be on the way out, I thought this a bit odd as the battery is only a few months old. So I had a look see.
I use the Aux power socket by the starter motor to connect my optimate, I had a look at the socket and found green corosion inside. gave it a good clean up and now the optimate is telling me mt battery is OK.
So, if you use the Aux power socket and are getting iffy readings or supply problems to extra kit, give the socket a clean first before you spend silly money on new batteries etc.
