I think my faulty power adaptor is to blame for this recent degradation. £65 for a new one at Apple today. At least the Magsafe bit is now reinforced and won't fray like the old version.

Interstingly my battery is a cheapo (£30) ebay job, but seems to have a higher original capacity than yours (5.6 Ah), but is now down to 2.9 Ah (after about a year).

Mine is a 13.3in version which may be why the capacity is different. Have you got a 15in or 17in by any chance?

Great little app

Mine is 36 months old (MBP) and is at 5800mAh vs 6300mAh new. 91% of the original capacity after 3 years seems too bad really!

Mine has had heavy use in its lifetime but holding up well. My Magsafe also broke near the plug but is being held together with lecky tape
