Does anyone else think that Irish cops are really on the ball lately?

The drug seizures lately would make a drug-baron-in-exile weep.

even the common stick-up guys can's escape.

There is times when you'd have to feel sorry for the cops, they put all the hours in, mountains of paper work. get into court and some loop blows it up in their face.

Man arrested after Athlone robbery
A man in his 40s has been arrested following an armed robbery at a post office in Irishtown, Athlone, Co Westmeath this afternoon.

Gardaí arrested the man on the M4 near Kinnegad following a high speed chase.

It is not known how much money was taken in the raid.
